Jodhpur is the second largest city in the state of Rajasthan. It has drawn tourists from around the world. Settling in the sentinel on the western border, Jodhpur is famous for its magnificent forts and palaces.

Jodhpur is located on the edge of the Thar Desert with Jaisalmer on its west side, Barma, Jalor and Pali on the south side, the north bank of Bikaner and Nagaur on the eastern side. This is a typical desert climate, dry and warm. The ideal time to visit this place is the period from November to March. The city is like an oasis in the desert, where shrubs various annoying throughout the region.
The Rajput chief Rao Jodha founded the city of Jodhpur in 1459. Previously, it was the capital of Rajasthan state of Marwar. A stone wall 10 km long around the city.
